This house was designed by Howell and Thomas in 1916 and built around a Skinner organ in the basement. The garden offers a blend of informal and formal elements with large trees, conifers for screening and a dramatic variety of shrubs, perennials and tropicals throughout.

This garden was planned in a succession of exterior spaces: A cobble driveway in dappled shade leads up to the house and into a sunny courtyard. Espaliered apples and climbing red roses soften the walls and create a vivid entry. A colourful variety of annuals cascade from window boxes and an arbour leads into the rear garden.

Two Cantilevered ponds display large specimen Koi in the lower pond, and lilies and lotus in the top pond. We designed a stone terrace and sitting area adjacent to the ponds that presents a view of the entire garden and a vegetable and cutting garden that provides delicious fresh bounty for the table.
